I’m a startup lawyer and represent startup companies through all phases of their growth and development process.
I provide counsel regarding incorporation, initial founder and corporate documents, seed funding, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions. I also represent individual investors and groups in seed and later-stage financings including secured debt transactions.
I represented about 100 clients in 2009 and around 85% of them were technology startups, including software, hardware, clean tech, mobile, digital media, medical, and networking. I have a handful of clients that make apps for Facebook, Twitter, iPhone OS, and Android.
When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my family, watching USC football, or ordering a hot green tea from Starbucks. I also have made a commitment to see more sunlight in 2010, so I may be playing more golf this year.
